NORSAN fish oil and cod liver oil are FOS-certified and made from fish that all come from FOS-certified sustainable waters. The Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification confirms that our contribution to the protection of the environment, and in particular the world's oceans, has been validated by a renowned, objective research organisation.

Friend of the Sea is an internationally respected non-profit organisation dedicated to conserving the world's marine habitats. FOS runs major certification projects that verify the sustainability of fisheries and omega-3 fish oil products.

NORSAN shall ensure that the following criteria are met:

IFOS certificate

IFOS certification (International Fish Oil Standards Programme) is an independent testing and certification programme for fish oil. IFOS sets the world's highest standards for purity, potency and freshness. Omega-3 supplements are evaluated against 5 criteria. Our NORSAN fish oil fully meets all these criteria. That's why IFOS has given each of our liquid fish oils and capsules the highest rating.

Kiekvienas gamybos procesas ir paslauga daro poveikį aplinkai: naudojama energija, ištekliai ir vanduo, o kaip nepageidaujami šalutiniai produktai susidaro CO₂ ir kitos dujos, taip pat atliekos. „Der Grüne Punkt“ įvertina aplinkos pusiausvyrą analizuodama energijos suvartojimą, išteklių naudojimą ir perdirbimo procesuose susidarančių išmetamųjų teršalų kiekį.
