The marine fatty acids EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are important for good mental and physical development. Embryos, newborns and children need these two Omega-3 fatty acids especially for brain and eye development. In addition, hyperactivity and concentration disorders can be compensated for by Omega-3 fatty acids. That's why "Omega-3 FISK" combines NORSAN cod liver oil (rich in DHA) and NORSAN fine fish oil (rich in EPR) from fine fish in appropriate proportions.

Natural wild fish oil

The two marine Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA are important for good child development. This is why "Omega-3 FISK" contains a combination of cod liver oil (rich in DHA) and fine fish oil (rich in EPA) in optimal proportions. The fish oil contained in "Omega-3 FISK"derived from small marine fish caught in sustainable fisheries and produced in Norway. This natural fish oil contains more than 50 fatty acids, the same as in fish. So when you consume this fish oil, you are getting the same nutrients as when you consume the fish itself. Cod liver oil comes from cod caught in the Arctic Ocean, off the coast of Norway. Fine fish oil comes from fish caught in the Atlantic Ocean. We attach great importance to the freshness of cod liver oil and fish oil: the process from catch to processing usually takes only 2-4 hours. That's why our oils taste so good. Judge for yourself the freshness and quality of the oil just by smelling and tasting it. As with other foods, smell and taste are reliable indicators of quality.

Extra virgin organic olive oil

"Omega-3FISK" contains 20% virgin olive oil, which acts as a natural and powerful antioxidant. Our olive oil has been specially selected for its powerful antioxidants. "In the Omega-3 FISK product, as in our other Omega-3 products, we use organic cold-pressed olive oil, which is rich in polyphenols known for their antioxidant properties. It is the polyphenol content of olive oil that protects Omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation. Olive oil rich in polyphenols is characterised by a tingling sensation in the throat and a slightly bitter taste when swallowed. The olives are supplied by our olive grower Rafael, who works under organic farming conditions. We regularly visit Rafael and his olive groves in Spain.

How to take Omega-3 FISK?

Tasty and easy to consume

"Omega-3 FISK Jelly is a gelatinous lozenge with a fruity strawberry and lemon flavour. They are, of course, sugar-free, but all children love them!

It's usually not easy to get children to eat fish several times a week or even every day, so tasty chewy Omega-3 gummies are a great alternative for children. It is the impeccable quality and freshness of the raw materials that guarantees the great taste of Omega-3 FISK Jelly.

How to use?

The daily dose varies depending on the age of the child. We recommend:

Oils:

• Up to 2 years: 2.5 ml every other day (approximately 1/2 teaspoon); this contains 560 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids. If the mother is breastfeeding: 1 tablespoon per day for the mother; contains 2000 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids.
• 2 to 6 years: 2.5 ml per day (approximately 1/2 teaspoon); this is 560 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids.
• 6 to 12 years: 5 ml per day (approximately 1 teaspoon); this is 1,120 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids.
• From 12 years of age: 9 ml/day (approximately 1 tablespoon); this is 2000 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids.

Gelatinous pastilles (gum):

• 3 to 6 years: 2 lozenges per day (500 mg Omega-3)
• 6 to 12 years: 4 lozenges per day (1 000 mg Omega-3)

Pure or mixed with drink or food

It is not easy for children to eat fish several times a week, or even every day. Thanks to the liquid form of the supplement and the good taste "Omega-3 FISK" the oil is easy to use.

Extra food "Omega-3 FISK" can be taken on their own or mixed with a drink or food, and the lozenges can simply be chewed.

Composition and storage conditions

Ingredients

Oil. Natural fish oil, natural cod liver oil (with vitamin A), olive oil, mixed tocopherols (vitamin E), orange oil.

Gelatin lozenges. Natural fish oil, sweeteners (xylitol and sorbitol), water, gelatine, natural flavourings (lemon and strawberry), acidity regulator (sodium citrate), antioxidants (malic acid), colour (paprika extract), cholecalciferol (vitamin D3).

Storage conditions

Oil. Unopened products should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once opened, the bottle should be stored in the refrigerator. Keep away from small children. Shake the bottle briefly before use. Precipitate may form at temperatures below 4°C. This precipitate will dissolve at room temperature after a few minutes.

Use within 45 days after opening. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

Gelatin lozenges. "Omega-3 FISK Jelly lozenges should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Dietary supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet or a healthy lifestyle. Keep away from young children. Excessive consumption may cause diarrhoea.
