Natural fish oil - no concentrates

Omega-3 capsules contain natural oils from small fish. They are not concentrated, which is why they contain more than 50 fatty acids that are naturally found in fish. We extract and purify our fish oil very carefully and responsibly to preserve the natural fatty acid structure of fish.

Natural fish oil and concentrate The difference is that in concentrated fish oil, the structure of the natural fatty acids is altered by various chemical processes to artificially concentrate the Omega-3 fatty acids EPA and DHA. To date, very little is known about how concentrated (and hence processed) fish oil is absorbed by the body, so it is better to consume natural and non-concentrated fish oil, such as that found in Omega-3 capsules, as the effects are closer to those of eating fish.

Natural fish oil

[Our NORSAN fish oil is extremely fresh and of good quality, so it is well tolerated. The neutral taste and smell of the Omega-3 oil in the capsules is proof of its exceptional quality and the capsules do not cause unpleasant reflux or aftertaste.

The fish oil contained in this product is obtained from small wild fish caught in sustainable fisheries. This is the same oil that is in our "Omega-3 Total" in a composition whose quality has already been assured. NORSAN fish oil is derived from whole fish, not as a by-product of fish parts. To produce NORSAN fish oil, we use small wild fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies. Once caught, the fish is immediately processed and cooled on board. The fishing is carried out according to strict Norwegian standards and is certified by Friends of the Sea. This fish oil is carefully cleaned of contaminants and PCBs. All production processes are strictly controlled and comply with all Norwegian regulations.

Oil or capsules?

At NORSAN, we are convinced that nature has designed everything perfectly, so that natural and unmodified foods are better absorbed by the body. For this reason, NORSAN fish oil is natural and we do not chemically process it to concentrate it. The choice between capsules and liquid fish is a matter of taste.

On the one hand, the capsules are easier to transport when travelling and are more suitable for people who do not like to consume pure oil. On the other hand, liquid fish oil is more practical to integrate into everyday life, as it can simply be added to food like a regular oil, and its taste is so pleasant that it does not really change the flavour of a dish. The fact that the oil does not have the unpleasant smell and taste of fish makes it pleasant to consume in its pure form.

Another aspect is the price difference - capsules are more expensive because of the extra work involved in the manufacturing process - the production of capsules. This affects the final price.

We therefore recommend that you choose the shape according to your personal taste. These two products are high quality and safe, containing the optimal dose of these essential fatty acids.

High in Omega-3 fatty acids 

Omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fatty acids. They are essential fatty acids because they can only be obtained from food. The human body itself does not produce them. To learn more, click here.

The daily dose of Omega-3 capsules contains 1500 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids, equivalent to 4 capsules. The high doses of Omega-3 capsules make them an ideal source of these fatty acids for those who do not wish to consume pure liquid oil or for those who travel. The antioxidant in these capsules is rosemary extract.

Use of Omega-3 capsules

How to use?

4 capsules per day with or after meals. Which time of day you take it is not very important, but some sources recommend the first half of the day. The daily dose contains 1500 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids.

No unpleasant sensations after use

The high quality of the raw materials avoids unpleasant reflux and aftertaste after taking Omega-3 capsules. The freshness of the oil is important. No more than 4 hours should elapse between catching and processing the fish. The unique and meticulous cleaning and purification process guarantees the exceptional quality of NORSAN fish oil.

Ingredients

Fish oil (70.8%); gelatin; humectant: glycerol; antioxidant: rosemary extract; vitamin E (mixed tocopherols).

A food supplement containing mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E.

Storage conditions

Both unopened and opened products should be stored away from direct sunlight at a stable room temperature. Keep away from small children. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
