"Omega-3 Total" (200 ml) natural or lemon-flavoured fish oil made from fine wild fish. This fish oil is rich in fatty acids but not concentrated. The organic cold-pressed olive oil included is needed as an antioxidant. The daily dose contains as much as 2000 mg of Omega-3. The liquid form and pleasant taste make the oils easy to consume on their own or mixed into drinks or food.
The fish oil is sustainably sourced and purified from contaminants, PCBs and heavy metals.

Small, wild fish oil from sustainable fisheries

Omega-3 oil comes from small, wild fish caught in sustainable fisheries. The fish oil comes from the whole fish, not as a by-product of the fish liver. Fish such as sardines, mackerel and anchovies are used. Fishing is carried out in accordance with the strictest Norwegian directives and recognised certification" Friend of the Sea ".

The fish that NORSAN uses as raw material is caught by a modern fishing fleet. Vessels stop in port every day to deliver fresh catches. There is usually no more than 4 hours between the catch and the delivery of the fish to production.

The quality of fish oil is determined by its taste and smell. Trust your sense of smell! NORSAN Omega-3 oil is extremely fresh and therefore well tolerated. It is processed in an oxygen-free environment, cleaned of harmful substances and PCBs, and tested to the strictest Norwegian standards. When you consume the liquid oil, you will immediately see the quality of the oil - it does not have an unpleasant fishy taste or smell.

In our opinion, NORSAN fish oil is the best Omega-3 oil because of its exceptional Omega-3 quality and the high Omega-3 content of the natural fish oil (up to 35%). This product has a particularly high content of Omega-3 EPA compared to Omega-3 DHA (lowest ratio 2:1).

Omega-3 oil is completely natural and non-concentrated

Natural fish oil is a complex of more than 50 fatty acids. Extracting and purifying Omega-3 Total" fats, preserving the natural structure of fish fatty acids. Heavy metal and chemical pollution in the sea causes fish to absorb these contaminants. For this reason, NORSAN fish oil is thoroughly purified from contaminants, PCBs and heavy metals.

Organic olive oil as an antioxidant

There are many studies and scientific articles on Omega-3 fatty acids and their beneficial effects on human health. However, little is said about the particular fragility and susceptibility to oxidation of unsaturated fatty acids compared to saturated fatty acids. Therefore, to protect Omega-3s from oxidation before and during consumption, NORSAN oil contains extra virgin organic olive oil, which is a natural and powerful antioxidant.

The olive oil we use was chosen for its powerful antioxidants. "Omega-3 Total" contains natural extra virgin olive oil rich in polyphenols. Some of our other Omega-3 oils also contain olive oil as an antioxidant. The polyphenols in olive oil protect the Omega-3 fatty acids from oxidation. Due to the abundance of polyphenols in olive oil, a slight tingling sensation in the throat or a bitter taste may be felt when swallowing.

The olives are supplied by our olive grower Rafael, who works under organic farming conditions. To ensure a high quality supply of olive oil, we regularly visit Rafael in his olive grove in Spain.

High Omega-3 content

"Omega-3 Total" The daily dose contains 2000 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids (8 ml, about 1 tablespoon). This dosage of 2000 mg is recommended to balance the Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratio. This recommendation is based on the results of more than 3,000 studies on blood levels of fatty acids and numerous scientific papers that have shown that a minimum of 2,000 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids per day is needed to compensate for Omega-3 deficiency.

Quality and freshness are key

The quality of the raw materials and the selection of the fish oil give Omega-3 Total" for a pleasant and natural taste. A few drops of natural lemon oil give it a special but mild aftertaste (also available without lemon oil - natural taste). The fat is extremely fresh and therefore very well tolerated. High quality and fresh lard will not cause unpleasant reflux or rebound. The pleasant taste of our fish oil makes it easy to consume in liquid form.

How to use?

Oil. The recommended daily dose is 8 ml, equivalent to a dessert spoon.

One bottle contains 200 ml. For normal use, one bottle lasts approximately 25 days. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake unless otherwise instructed by your doctor.

Capsules. The recommended daily dose is 4 capsules per day with or after meals. The daily dose contains 1500 mg of Omega-3 fatty acids, including 856 mg of EPA and 368 mg of DHA.

Pure or mixed with drink or food

The pleasant taste and liquid form make Omega-3 Total easy to take. It can be taken neat or mixed with a drink, sauce or food.

Ingredients

Oil. Natural fish oil, olive oil, cholecalciferol (vitamin D), mixed tocopherols (vitamin E). "Omega-3 Total lemon flavour contains a few drops of natural lemon oil.

Vitamin D

The daily dose (1 dessertspoon / 8 ml) contains 20 µg vitamin D3 / 800 IU. Vitamin D3, derived from sheep's wool, is added to Omega-3 Total" fish oil, because purifying fish oil also removes the vitamin D it naturally contains.

Capsules. Fish oil (70.8%); gelatine; humectant: glycerol; antioxidant: rosemary extract; vitamin E (mixed tocopherols).

A food supplement containing mono- and polyunsaturated fatty acids and vitamin E.

Storage conditions

Oil. The unopened product should be stored in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight. Precipitation may occur at temperatures below 4 °C. These precipitates will dissolve after a few minutes at room temperature. It is recommended to shake the bottle briefly before use. Keep away from small children. Once opened, the bottle should be refrigerated and consumed within 45 days. Food supplements are not a substitute for a complete and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
