NORSAN fish oil and cod liver oil are FOS-certified and made from fish that all come from FOS-certified sustainable waters. The Friend of the Sea (FOS) certification confirms that our contribution to the protection of the environment, and in particular the world's oceans, has been validated by a renowned, objective research organisation.

Friend of the Sea is an internationally respected non-profit organisation dedicated to conserving the world's marine habitats. FOS runs major certification projects that verify the sustainability of fisheries and omega-3 fish oil products.

IFOS certificate

IFOS certification (International Fish Oil Standards Programme) is an independent testing and certification programme for fish oil. IFOS sets the world's highest standards for purity, potency and freshness. Omega-3 supplements are evaluated against 5 criteria. Our NORSAN fish oil fully meets all these criteria.
